Bank Robbery Rockville Bank

Rt. 195 Tolland, CT

   On July 29, 2007, at approximately 12:36 p.m. Troopers from Troop C in Tolland responded to a reported bank robbery at the Rockville Bank, Rt. 195, Tolland.  Initial Troopers determined that a white male wearing a dark colored baseball style cap, black long sleeve shirt, rust colored cargo pants, and sunglasses entered the bank approaching the tellers. The male subjected demanded money from then tellers indicating that it was a robbery while handing the tellers a note. That after receiving the money, the suspect fled the bank on foot. The suspect is described a mid twenties, 6’2” thin build short hair. 

     Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Unit responded to the scene and are investigating.
