Fatal accident arrest

   

   On 06-14-07 at 8:15 p.m. a Jeffrey Doll turned himself in at Troop K where an active warrant was held for his arrest.  Doll was processed and released on bond.  The arrest warrant and the above listed charges resulted from the investigation of a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 12/24/06 at approximately 1940 hrs on Camp Meeting RD, near the intersection of French Rd, in the town of Bolton, CT.  At the time of the accident, the vehicle operated by Doll, a 2003 Dodge pick-up truck, collided into the vehicle operated by Storozuk, a 2005 Toyota pick-up truck.  Doll evaded the scene of the accident and Storozuk died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.

Arrested:          Doll, Jeffrey, age 64, (DOB: 11/23/42)

                       Evading Responsibility 14-224(a)

                       Risk of Injury to a Minor 53-21 (3 counts)

                       Failure to Drive in Proper Lane 14-236

Bond:               $500,000 non-surety
