INCIDENT: DMV Investigation into Bribery & Fraudulent Drivers Licenses that were issued from the Bridgeport Office between 2001 and 2004. The Arrest Warrant Execution was for a suspended DMV Employee suspected of issuing Fraudulent Licenses.

Arrested on Warrant on 06/12/2006 She surrendered at Troop “G”.

SUMMARY: This Arrest Warrant Execution is part of the continuing investigation into corruption and bribery that took place at the Bridgeport Office of the DMV between 2001 and 2004.
 The subject Cynthia A. WHITE, who is suspended DMV Employee is suspected of issuing over 75 Fraudulent Licenses in a 3 year period. An arrest Warrant was obtained charging her with 21 separate charges.  She surrendered at Troop”G” in Bridgeport with her Attorney and was held on Bond for Court Arraignment.
 WHITE is the fifth (5th) DMV Employee arrested in this investigation to date. There have been eleven (11) other people arrested who were charged as Middlemen who arranged for people to obtain the fraudulent licenses from the corrupt DMV Employee’s. There are presently four (4) additional outstanding arrest warrants for other Middlemen who are being sought.
 The investigation is continuing and Additional Arrests will be made in the future.
