FRIDAY: LT. GOVERNOR WYMAN ATTENDS EVENTS IN GROTON, HARTFORD, AND GUILFORD

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will speak to members of the Eastern Chamber of Commerce at their 5 th annual Military Appreciation Breakfast.

Later, she will join Adjutant General Thaddeus J. Martin and members of the Connecticut National Guard at a press conference to launch Operation ELF, the annual benefit to support military families in Connecticut.

In the evening, she will make remarks at a fundraiser for APK Charities, which will benefit CT Trees of Honor, Fisher House, and the Special Forces Charitable Trust. APK Charities is named for Army Captain Andrew Pedersen-Keel of Madison, Connecticut, who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2013. The charity supports organizations that honor military men and women and offer supportive programs and services.
