Coronavirus Guidance for Applicants: The State Department of Education, in accordance with Gov. Lamont's Executive Order, has temporarily directed staff to telework. As a result, the Bureau of Educator Standards & Certification Public Phone Lines will be temporarily suspended. Additionally, this shift in staffing will extend the processing time for some application reviews and will delay the printing of certificates. Please note the Bureau is working with PK-12 HR personnel and Educator Preparation Program (EPP) personnel to allow for the continued submission of required documentation and forms.
