Gov. Malloy Directs Flags to Return to Full-Staff on Tuesday Evening

(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that U.S. and state flags should return to full-staff at sunset on the evening of Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Flags have been flying at half-staff across the state in honor of Connecticut State Police Trooper First Class Walter Greene, who passed away in the line of duty following a courageous battle with cancer as the result of his response and service in support of New York City in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will be in attendance at the funeral service for Trooper First Class Greene, which is scheduled to be held on Tuesday morning at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport.
