Gov. Malloy Announces Brian Durand to Serve as Chief of Staff Starting September 28
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced today that Brian Durand, who currently serves in his office as Deputy Chief of Staff, will replace outgoing Chief of Staff Mark Ojakian beginning Monday, September 28, 2015. Durand has served as the Governor's Deputy Chief of Staff since 2012 and previously worked at the Office of Policy and Management.
"Brian Durand has been a trusted friend and advisor since I first began working with him in 2004," Governor Malloy said. "He has excelled at every challenge and task he has been presented with, and I look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role as Chief of Staff for my administration."

Durand is a Connecticut native, raised in Stamford. He currently lives in West Hartford with his wife and their two sons.
