Tuesday: Gov. Malloy Makes Announcement Concerning the Future of the Charter Oak Bridge; Attends Conn. Open Tennis Tournament News Conference

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join officials for a news conference in New Haven about the Connecticut Open tennis tournament.  He will be joined by Tournament Director Anne Worcester, New Haven Mayor Toni Harp, and others.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference in Hartford to make a major announcement concerning the future of the Charter Oak Bridge, which carries Routes 5 and 15 over the Connecticut River between Hartford and East Hartford and for years has been the site of heavy congestion involving ramp connection going onto the bridge from I-91 northbound to I-84 eastbound.
