Wednesday: Gov. Malloy Holds News Conference in New Haven on Second Chance Initiative; Speaks at Hispanic Veterans Event

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference in New Haven, where he will discuss his "Second Chance Society" initiative and the effects of mandatory minimum sentences on urban areas.  He will be joined by Mayor Toni Harp and other state and local officials.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman will participate in the 9th annual Tribute to Hispanic Veterans ceremony at the State Capitol, hosted by the Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission (LPRAC).
