Thursday: Gov. Malloy Participates in Rally on Federal Transportation Funding; Speaks at YWCA Hartford Region Luncheon
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Senator Chris Murphy, Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty, Connecticut Department of Transportation Commissioner James P. Redeker and a group of transportation advocates at a rally as part of "National Stand Up 4 Transportation Day" urging the U.S. Congress to pass multi-year federal transportation funding legislation.
In the afternoon, Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman will speak at the YWCA Hartford Region's "In the Company of Women" luncheon, which benefits the organization and its mission to eliminate racism and empower women.
