Friday: Gov. Malloy Speaks at African American Clergy Day at the State Capitol
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will attend African American Clergy Day at the State Capitol, where he will speak about the "Second Chance Society" initiatives he announced earlier this week, which are designed to continue the progress being made in reducing the state's dropping crime rate. The annual event is co-hosted by the Connecticut State Missionary Baptist Convention and the General Assembly's Black and Puerto Rican Caucus.
