TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE SUMMIT IN GROTON; VISITS PUTNAM FARMERS' MARKET AND TOURS DOWNTOWN

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will make opening remarks at the U.S. Department of Commerce's Aerospace and Defense International Trade Summit in Groton, where he will speak about his administration's commitment to business and job growth in the two sectors.

Later, Governor Malloy will visit the Putnam Farmers' Market, where he will join local agricultural and business people to discuss the importance of Connecticut's agricultural industry. Following the visit, the Governor will tour Downtown Putnam for an opportunity to visit local small businesses. He will be joined by Mayor Tony Falzarano, Senate President Donald E. Williams, Jr., and other community leaders.
