SATURDAY: GOV. MALLOY CELEBRATES DEVELOPMENT ALONG THE CONNECTICUT RIVER IN HARTFORD

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Saturday evening, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join Hartford Mayor Pedro E. Segarra and East Hartford Mayor Marcia Leclerc in Hartford at Riverfront Recapture's annual Big Mo' fundraiser. Governor Malloy was named honorary chairman of this year's event, which emphasizes the attraction of urban dwelling as an opportunity for residents to enjoy the Riverfront, the city, and its amenities.

Riverfront Recapture has developed nearly 140 acres of parks and riverwalks through private-public partnerships. Nearly one million visitors annually enjoy Riverfront's parks, riverwalks, trails and events.
