SATURDAY: GOV. MALLOY ATTENDS OPENING OF GLASTONBURY'S RIVERFRONT PARK AND BOATHOUSE; SPEAKS AT CUBAN LYCEUM OF BRIDGEPORT'S 60TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Saturday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will participate in the grand opening ceremony of the Town of Glastonbury's Riverfront Park and Boathouse. The park, which will be available for use for many types of recreation, will provide the town's residents with public access to the Connecticut River as well as a two-story, multipurpose boathouse.

In the evening, Governor Malloy will speak at the 60th anniversary celebration of the Cuban Lyceum of Bridgeport. Founded in 1954, the organization is the longest-running Hispanic social club in New England and was created to promote unity, understanding and friendship among all Cuban and other Spanish-speaking people.
