MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY MEETS WITH NEW ENGLAND GOVERNORS & EASTERN CANADIAN PREMIERS TO DISCUSS REGIONAL ECONOMIC ISSUES

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will attend the 38th Conference of New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers. This year's conference, "Partnering for an Innovation Economy," will explore ways in which innovations in technologies, investments, and effective processes grow economic opportunities in the region.

The Conference of New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers is an inter-regional, bi-national, trans-border organization encouraging the region's leaders to work together and to coordinate and implement policies and programs which are designed to respond to regional issues. Members include the governors of all six New England states and the premiers of the five Eastern Canadian provinces.
