MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY SIGNS PORT AUTHORITY LEGISLATION IN NEW LONDON; ATTENDS OTHER EVENTS IN WATERFORD AND GROTON

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will participate in the grand opening ceremony for the Charter Oak Federal Credit Union's new headquarters in Waterford.

Following that, Governor Malloy will participate in the grand opening ceremony for PhysicianOne Urgent Care's new location in Groton.

At noon, Governor Malloy will hold a bill signing ceremony in New London to commemorate passage of a new law that creates the Connecticut Port Authority, which will be responsible for coordinating development of the state's ports to promote economic activity. The legislation is Public Act 14-222 , An Act Establishing the Connecticut Port Authority .
