WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY MAKES ANNOUNCEMENT ON STATEWIDE GRADUATION RATES; ATTENDS EVENTS IN HARTFORD AND VERNON

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will participate in a news conference in Hartford to make an announcement regarding the 2014 Hartford Marathon.

At noon, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference in Hartford to make an announcement concerning statewide graduation rates. He will be joined by Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra, state Department of Education Commissioner Stefan Pryor, and other state and local officials.

Following that, Governor Malloy will attend the grand opening and dedication ceremony of Rockville Public Library in Vernon, which recently underwent an expansion project.

In the evening, Governor Malloy will participate in the Connecticut Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission's 8th annual Tribute to Hispanic Veterans ceremony at the State Capitol.
