MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY VISITS INNOVATIVE PRE-K PROGRAM AT SHELTON SCHOOL

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will visit Susanna Wesley School in Shelton for an opportunity to meet with business leaders, school faculty and students involved in a new program at the school entitled Connecticut BEST - Businesses Enriching Scholars Together. Established by local Shelton farmer Terry Jones and Director of Susanna Wesley School Roberta Cenci, BEST seeks to create opportunities for the private sector to help children from families whose socioeconomic situation impacts their ability to acquire a quality early childhood education.
