WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY MAKES ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE FUTURE OF THE PFIZER SITE IN GROTON; PARTICIPATES IN TOURISM MEETING; ATTENDS BERLIN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT EVENT

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference to make an announcement about the future use of the Pfizer site in Groton.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will participate in the first in a series of scheduled tourism meetings between the state's four oversight boards, five partner boards, and other key groups, intended to provide an opportunity to chart their future work together.

Later, Governor Malloy will attend the Berlin Economic Development Commission and the New Britain-Berlin Chamber of Commerce Awards Reception, where he will be honored with the Economic Development Partnership Award.
