WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY MAKES ANNOUNCEMENT ON COLLEGE AFFORDABILITY IN WATERBURY; KEYNOTES EAST HARTFORD CHAMBER MEETING

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give the keynote address at the East Hartford Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Speaker Series, where he will speak to the local business community about his agenda for Connecticut's future.

At noon, Governor Malloy and State Treasurer Denise Nappier will hold a news conference in Waterbury to discuss the Governor's proposal on college affordability, which is currently being considered by the Connecticut General Assembly. They will be joined by Board of Regents for Higher Education President Dr. Gregory W. Gray, Naugatuck Valley Community College President Daisy Cocco De Filippis, students, and educators.
