FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY MAKES CLIMATE CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT IN GROTON; UNVEILS LEGISLATIVE PROPOSAL ON MENTAL HEALTH IN HARTFORD

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will make an announcement in Groton regarding climate change and its impact on the state. He will be joined by Senator Richard Blumenthal, Congressman Joe Courtney, UConn President Susan Herbst, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Daniel C. Esty, and others.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference in Hartford to unveil a legislative proposal he will introduce during the upcoming session to improve the state's mental health system. He will be joined by Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Commissioner Patricia Rehmer, and other state and local officials.
