FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE AND OPENS THE CONN. INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference outside of the Connecticut International Auto Show in Hartford to make a major announcement regarding the future of electric vehicles in the state. Following the news conference, the Governor will move inside, where he will participate in the official ribbon cutting ceremony to open the auto show. The annual auto show is the premier showcase of the newest model year import and domestic vehicles - cars, vans, crossovers, hybrids, light trucks and sport utilities.

Also participating will be Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Daniel C. Esty, Department of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Melody Currey, and Mike Lynch, Chairman of the Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association.
