MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS MEDIA AVAILABILITY ON METRO NORTH SERVICE DISRUPTION; ACCEPTS AWARD ON BEHALF ON CONNECTICUT'S FIRST RESPONDERS

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a media availability regarding the service disruption on the New Haven Line.

In the evening, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will attend the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia's 2013 Atlas Awards, honoring America's first responders. The Governor will accept an award on behalf of Connecticut's first responders who were on the scene during the tragic Newtown elementary school shooting in December. He will donate the award to the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection. [ Note: This event had been originally scheduled for June 13 but was rescheduled due to severe weather .]
