TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY SIGNS NEW LAW PRESERVING ONE OF THE LARGEST PARCELS OF FARMLAND IN STATE HISTORY; SPEAKS AT MARITIME AQUARIUM'S 25TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a bill signing ceremony at Southbury Training School to celebrate the final approval of legislation he introduced that preserves future use of land at the state-owned property for agriculture purposes. He will be joined by Southbury First Selectman Ed Edelson, Department of Developmental Services Commissioner Terrence W. Macy, Department of Agriculture Commissioner Steven K. Reviczky, State Representative Arthur J. O'Neill (R-Bridgewater, Roxbury, Southbury, Washington) and other state and local officials.
Later, Governor Malloy will make remarks at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk's 25th anniversary celebration.
