SATURDAY: GOV. MALLOY & LT. GOV. WYMAN WELCOME HOME CONN. NATIONAL GUARD UNITS
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Saturday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will welcome home 110 soldiers of the Connecticut National Guard at a ceremony in Hartford. Two units, which were deployed to Southwest Asia, will be honored for answering the call to duty in support of the Global War on Terror - the 1109th Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group of Groton and the Military Working Dog Detachments of Newtown.
