MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY, CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION, U.S. TRANSPORTATION SECRETARY FOXX DISCUSS IMPORTANCE OF RAIL INVESTMENT ON ECONOMIC GROWTH
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Senator Richard Blumenthal, Senator Chris Murphy and Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro will hold a news conference in New Haven with U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx to discuss the importance of rail investment on economic growth. Secretary Foxx became U.S. Transportation Secretary on July 2, 2013. His visit to Connecticut on Monday will be his first official visit to any state since his confirmation.
