WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY MEETS WITH NEW YORK CITY MAYOR BLOOMBERG; PARTICIPATES IN AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY EVENT

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will meet with New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg to discuss Connecticut's recently approved gun violence prevention legislation and the Governor's efforts to prevent urban gun violence.

In the evening, Governor Malloy will give remarks at the American Cancer Society's annual "Local Philanthropist Roast" benefitting the American Cancer Society Regional Center C. Anthony & Jean Whittingham Family Building in Norwalk, which supports cancer patients in lower Fairfield County.
