GOV. MALLOY'S SANDY HOOK ADVISORY COMMISSION CONTINUES DISCUSSIONS ON MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FRIDAY
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is next scheduled to meet on Friday, May 3 , at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, where they will hear presentations from behavioral health professionals on access to mental health services.
The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. in hearing room 2D.
The Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is a 16-member panel of experts created by Governor Malloy to review current policy and make specific recommendations in the areas of public safety, with particular attention paid to school safety, mental health, and gun violence prevention.
Friday's meeting will be the twelfth time the group has met since the Governor created the commission in January.
