FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY KICKS OFF SUMMER READING CHALLENGE; ATTENDS FUEL CELL POWER PLANT GROUNDBREAKING

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will kick-off the launch of the 2013 Governor's Summer Reading Challenge at the State Library in Hartford and honor the winners of the 2012 challenge. The Governor's Summer Reading Challenge is an annual program co-sponsored by the State Department of Education and the State Library to encourage reading among school students across the state.

Later, Governor Malloy will attend the groundbreaking ceremony for Dominion/FuelCell Energy's new fuel cell power plant in Bridgeport, which will become the largest fuel cell power plant in North America.
