FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY KEYNOTES SUBASE CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY; MAKES FREIGHT RAIL ANNOUNCEMENT

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give the keynote address at the Naval Submarine Base New London's 49th Change of Command ceremony, during which Captain Marc W. Denno will be relieved by Captain Carl A. Lahti as the Commanding Officer of the base.

At noon, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference in New London with Congressman Joe Courtney and Department of Transportation Commissioner James P. Redeker to make an announcement regarding the future of freight rail in the state.
