TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY HIGHLIGHTS GROWTH AT SMALL BUSINESSES IN EAST GRANBY & WETHERSFIELD; SPEAKS AT HIGHER EDUCATION COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARDS

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will visit two small businesses - Nufern in East Granby and Payveris in Wethersfield - for an opportunity to tour each facility and speak to their executives about job growth and business expansion.

In the evening, Governor Malloy will give remarks at the 2013 Connecticut Higher Education Community Service Awards at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain. The annual ceremony recognizes the campus volunteerism and community service efforts of college students, faculty and staff from throughout the state who are making a positive difference in their institution's surrounding communities.
