TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY GIVES REMARKS AT VETERANS CAREER FAIR; SPEAKS AT LITCHFIELD AREA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION MEETING; PROMOTES WORK ZONE SAFETY; KEYNOTES EVENT ON EFFORTS TO EXPAND DIGITAL MEDIA

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give welcoming remarks at the 9th annual Heroes4Hire job and career fair for veterans, organized by the Connecticut Department of Labor. This year's event will be attended by over 80 businesses and organizations interested in hiring veterans.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will keynote the monthly meeting of the Litchfield Area Business Association.

Later, Governor Malloy will promote Work Zone Safety Week by touring a Department of Transportation project to replace highway guardrails on Route 7 in Brookfield.

Following that, Governor Malloy will give the closing keynote address at MediaMashup, where he will speak about his efforts to encourage and support growth industries, including digital media.
