THURSDAY: GOV. MALLOY SIGNS LEGISLATION ON GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION, MENTAL HEALTH AND SCHOOL SAFETY; HOSTS COMMUNITY FORUM IN MANCHESTER

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday at noon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a bill signing ceremony for the comprehensive legislative package on gun violence prevention, mental health and school safety that was approved by the Connecticut General Assembly.

In the evening, Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will host a community forum in Manchester, where they will speak with members of the public on the state's pressing issues. This will be the fifth event in this series of community forums.
