GOV. MALLOY'S SANDY HOOK ADVISORY COMMISSION CONTINUES DISCUSSIONS ON MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FRIDAY
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is next scheduled to
meet on Friday, April 26
, at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, where they will continue hearing presentations from behavioral health professionals on mental health services, specifically on the topics of violence and trauma.
The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. in hearing room 1A.
The Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is a 16-member panel of experts created by Governor Malloy to review current policy and make specific recommendations in the areas of public safety, with particular attention paid to school safety, mental health, and gun violence prevention.
