SATURDAY: GOV. MALLOY RUNS IN SANDY HOOK RUN FOR THE FAMILIES; SPEAKS AT AMISTAD CENTER EXHIBITION OPENING
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Saturday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will speak at the opening ceremony and then run in the Sandy Hook Run for the Families 5K event in Hartford. The event, organized by the Hartford Marathon Foundation, is anticipated to turn out 15,000 runners and as many as 30,000 spectators.
In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will give remarks at the grand opening reception of the Amistad Center for Art & Culture's "Question Bridge: Black Males" exhibition. "Question Bridge: Black Males" is a multimedia arts project that seeks to represent and redefine Black male identity in America.
