GOV. MALLOY: SANDY HOOK ADVISORY COMMISSION TO RECEIVE TESTIMONY FRIDAY ON EMERGENCY PLANNING
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is next scheduled to meet on Friday, March 8, at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, where they will receive testimony from experts on the topics of school security and the state's emergency management infrastructure.
Presenters include Gregg Champlin, a specialist on school emergency planning and natural hazards from the New Hampshire Department of Safety's Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division, in addition to Deputy Commissioner Bill Shea and State Emergency Management Director William Hackett of the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.
The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. in Room 1A.
