TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY UNVEILS FINAL VERSION OF STATE'S COMPREHENSIVE ENERGY STRATEGY

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold events in Manchester and Hartford to unveil the final version of state's Comprehensive Energy Strategy. The energy plan will create jobs, lower costs for consumers, and preserve our environment.

In Manchester, Governor Malloy will visit Royal Ice Cream Company, a small business that recently converted to low-cost, cleaner burning natural gas, where he will roll out the natural gas component of the strategy.

In Hartford, Governor Malloy will visit La Plaza del Mercado, where he will roll out the energy efficiency components of the strategy. The plaza is currently implementing various renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives to lower their energy costs.
