FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY DISCUSSES COMMITMENT TO FURTHER EDUCATION REFORM EFFORTS; ANNOUNCES MAJOR NOMINATION

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will visit Briggs High School in Norwalk, where he will meet with school administrators, city officials, and state lawmakers to discuss his efforts to build on the education reforms he signed into law in 2012. Following the discussion, the Governor will take a tour of the school facilities.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference at the State Capitol in Hartford to announce a major nomination.
