WEEKEND: GOV. MALLOY ATTENDS NATIONAL GOVERNORS ASSOCIATION MEETING

(HARTFORD, CT) - This weekend, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will participate in a meeting of the National Governors Association that will be attended by governors and governors-elect from across the country.

"These conferences provide an important opportunity to meet with a bipartisan group of governors from all corners of the country, promote Connecticut, discuss policy issues, and collaborate on initiatives that can prove beneficial for our residents," Governor Malloy said. "I believe you need to always be looking at the way you manage, and find ways to improve. Meeting with peers is a great way to do that."

On Saturday at 9:45 a.m., the governors and governors-elect in attendance will hold a news conference to discuss the meeting.
