TODAY: GOV. MALLOY PARTICIPATES IN STATE POLICE AWARDS CEREMONY; VIEWS STORM DAMAGE IN NEW HAVEN & WEST HAVEN

(HARTFORD, CT) - At 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will participate in the Connecticut State Police Awards Ceremony in Meriden. State Police awards are given to men and women, sworn and civilian, who have provided extraordinary service to the public and will be recognized for their outstanding public safety performance.

At 3:15 p.m., Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman will visit Morris Cove in New Haven, where they will join local officials to view storm damage and speak with impacted residents in the area. Following the tour, they will hold a media availability at Union Station.

At 4:30 p.m., Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman will visit the beachfront in West Haven, where they will join local officials to view storm damage and speak with impacted residents.
