SATURDAY: GOV. MALLOY VISITS SMALL BUSINESS IN NORWALK DAMAGED BY STORM; HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE AT BRIDGEPORT FEMA CENTER WITH SBA ADMINISTRATOR
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Saturday at 2:15 p.m., Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, joined by U.S. Small Business Administrator Karen Mills, will visit Overton's Seafood, a small business in Norwalk whose building was heavily damaged by Storm Sandy. They will meet with the owner of the business and discuss the disaster benefits available to get the business back up and running.
At 3:00 p.m., Governor Malloy, Lt. Governor Wyman, U.S. Small Business Administrator Karen Mills, members of Connecticut's Congressional delegation, and local officials will hold a news conference at the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Bridgeport to discuss relief assistance available to businesses that were affected by the storm.
