SUNDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT DIABETES WALK; MARCHES IN NEW HAVEN COLUMBUS DAY PARADE; ATTENDS CHILD SAFETY DAY EVENT
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Sunday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give opening remarks and help kick-off the start of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's annual Walk to Cure Diabetes at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will march in the annual New Haven Columbus Day Parade.
Later, Governor Malloy will give remarks at the 10th Annual Scitico Fall Fest-Child Safety Day in Enfield. Local businesses and public safety offices, including the Enfield police and fire departments, provide families with fun activities and educational information on how to increase child safety.
