TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT DARIEN LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS EVENT; PARTICIPATES IN NATIONAL GUARD SEND-OFF CEREMONY

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will be a guest speaker at a meeting of the Darien League of Women Voters, where he will speak about state efforts to increase voter turnout in the state.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will participate in a send-off ceremony at the State Armory in Hartford for 230 soldiers of the 104th Aviation Regiment and the 1048th Transportation Company, who are being deployed to Afghanistan.
