MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY KEYNOTES FINANCE OFFICERS CONFERENCE; MAKES MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ON NEW HAVEN-HARTFORD-SPRINGFIELD RAIL PROJECT

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give the keynote address at the New England Government Finance Officers' Association Conference in Hartford, where he will speak about his efforts to get our state's fiscal house in order to help create new jobs and keep the ones we have.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference in Meriden with Senator Richard Blumenthal, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, Congressman Chris Murphy, Congressman John Larson, U.S. Department of Transportation officials, and other local officials to make a major announcement concerning the future of the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield Rail Project.
