WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY PARTICIPATES IN EVENT TO HONOR FALLEN NAVY SEAL
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join Stamford Mayor Michael A. Pavia and other local officials for an event to commemorate the upcoming first anniversary of the death of Navy SEAL Brian Bill, a Stamford resident who was killed in action in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011. Efforts to construct a memorial in Stamford to all veterans of the war on terror will also be launched.
