TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT NATIONAL MOTOR VEHICLE CONVENTION; ATTENDS STARWOOD GRAND OPENING CEREMONY

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give welcoming remarks at the opening ceremony of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators Annual Conference in Ledyard. The conference will be attended by motor vehicle officials from Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Later, Governor Malloy will give remarks at the grand opening ceremony of the new Starwood Hotels & Resorts global corporate headquarters in Stamford. The company's move to Stamford is expected to bring around 800 jobs into the state.
