THURSDAY: GOV. MALLOY TO COMMEMORATE NEW OPEN SPACE LAW
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a bill signing ceremony to commemorate the passage of Public Act 12-152, a new law that strengthens Connecticut's efforts to preserve land as open space and help the state meet its goal of protecting 673,210 acres, or 21 percent, of state land as open space by 2023.
