THURSDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT POLICE CONVENTION; PARTICIPATES IN STATE CAPITOL POLISH DAY CEREMONY

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give opening remarks at the AFSCME Council 15 Connecticut Council of Police 45th annual convention in Plantsville, where he will speak to nearly 4,000 police officers representing 62 municipalities.

Later, Governor Malloy will participate in the annual Polish Day ceremony at the State Capitol, commemorating the 221st anniversary of the Polish constitution. Governor Malloy has declared Thursday "Polish-American Day" in the State of Connecticut.
