THURSDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS CEREMONIAL SIGNING OF A BILL TO MODERNIZE CONNECTICUT'S BLUE LAWS; ATTENDS GREATER NEW HAVEN NAACP AWARDS
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a bill signing ceremony for legislation that amends Connecticut's Blue Laws, giving businesses the option of selling alcohol on Sundays.
In the evening, Governor Malloy will attend the Greater New Haven NAACP Branch's 95th Annual Freedom Fund Dinner, where he will present former State Representative William Dyson with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
