FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT FIRE FIGHTERS CONFERENCE; TOURS BUSINESSES IN NEW BRITAIN & MANCHESTER

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give welcoming remarks at the 2012 New England Conference of Fire Fighters in Ledyard.

Later, he will visit Peter Paul Electronics Company in New Britain, where he will tour the facility and speak with its executives about the company's plans for expansion. The company designs, develops and manufactures solenoid valves, which it sells to markets worldwide.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will visit Empire Industries, Inc. in Manchester for a tour of the company followed by a conversation with its executives. The company manufactures pipes for the residential, commercial and industrial piping and mechanical markets.
